Going to see the Queen

Bit of a turn up this one. My Dad retires in a month from his job of Partnership Director at the LSC and it seems his hard work has been recognised and he has been awarded an Member of the Order of the British Empire (MBE) for services to education. I must admit that since he has been working for the LSC, although I’ve seen how hard he works, I think I underestimated the responsibilty he was dealing with.

He is very humble about it (Guess that runs in the genes!!) but I am really really pleased and proud for him. Anyway, the upshot is that in 5 months, me, my sis and parents get to go to Buckingham Palace to meet the Queen! If you have any messages you’d like me to pass on, let me know.

I wonder if they serve Stella on tap?
