Hunt
August 7, 2006 Slaughter 1 CommentAfter another poor years performance, receivers were finally called into Marwell zoo. In a controversial move, they decided that profits could be maximised by the reintroduction of hunting and the consummation of wild animals. The huge amounts of money raised could be used to bring tenfold the amount of animals into the zoo and so put in place a self perpetuating cycle of profits.
Being novices at this kind of thing, we wanted to start off with a big slow mammal. The Rhino proved an excellent slow moving target go get to grips with the M14’s kindly supplied to us. I managed to capture a picture down the sights of the barrel, 2 seconds before the fatal shot. Marwell are kind enough to allow you to keep trophies, so I will post back later on whether the horn is actually an aphrodisiac or not.

Feeling a bit more confident, we wanted to go for something a little more lively.

After a long day at the safari, there is nothing more satisfying than a penguin kebab (Better than the stuff they give to you on a Friday night on Shirley High Street anyway)

More pictures of the animals we killed can be found on my Flickr.
